Minister’s congratulation on bronze to Quadruple Sculls
Defence Minister Davor Bozinovic sent today, Saturday, 3 September 2011, congratulations to the members of the Croatian Armed Forces – members of the Quadruple Sculls Damir Martin, Valent Sinkovic, Martin Sinkovic and David Sajna on winning the bronze medal today in the Quadruple Sculls race at the World Championships in rowing that has been held from 28 August to 4 September 2011 in Bled, Slovenia.
“Dear Damir, David, Martin and Valent, on behalf of all members of the Croatian Armed Forces, the Defence Ministry and myself, I congratulate you on your once again great success – winning bronze medal at the World Rowing Championship in Slovenia. This result is all the more since you have qualified for the 2012 Olympics in London. We are proud that you are members of large family of the Croatian Armed Forces, and that you achieve these remarkable successes by your team sports work, professionalism and personal drive”, was in the congratulation sent by the Minister of Defence Bozinovic.
Damir Martin Valent Sinkovic, Martin Sinkovic and David Sajn have been members of the Croatian Armed Forces since March 2011, based on the last year’s Agreement on co-operation, improvement and development of sport in the Republic of Croatia, signed between the Ministry of Defence and the Croatian Olympic Committee.
