Ministry of Defence donated rifles and equipment to Afghanistan security forces
Based on the decision of the Croatian Government, Ministry of Defence in cooperation with the U.S. side prepared a donation of fifteen thousand AK 47 rifles with all the necessary equipment for Afghan security forces.
It is the weapons and equipment from stocks that are being withdrawn from service in the Croatian Armed Forces. The total value of donation is about five million kunas.
The donation is intended for the police forces of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and will be transported by the U.S. Air Force in the mid of this month.
