Ministry of Defence on the news about the arrest of General Kruljac
On the occasion of the news of the arrest of the Army Commander Lieutenant General Mladen Kruljac, and given the media inquiries, the Ministry of Defence wants to communicate that to this point it has not yet received official notification of this event.
Upon the notification by the competent authorities within the regular procedure, Ministry of Defence will decide on the measures which must be taken in accordance with applicable laws.
The command system in the Croatian Army function normally and the command of the Army has been assumed by the Deputy Army Commander, Brigadier General Zvonko Peternel.
