MOD and UNDP signed a letter of intent on Energy Efficiency
Croatian Ministry of Defense (MoD) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), have signed a letter of intent by which the MOD officially joined the Government Programme “Put Your House in Order”, though successful cooperation was actively pursued for four years, or virtually from the start of the Program.
The Assistant Minister of Defence Viktor Koprivnjak and the UNDP Deputy Representative in Croatia Vitalie Vremis signed a letter of intent.
This officially started the cooperation between the Defence Ministry and the UNDP on the realization of measures to increase energy efficiency in buildings under the jurisdiction of the Republic of Croatia.
“Put Your House in Order” is being implemented in all ministries in Croatia with the aim of establishing a sustainable energy management in which an important role has a national information system for energy management (ISGE), which will now enable the MOD quality monitoring of energy and water spending.
