NATO Committee visited Zemunik Barracks
As part of the regular annual meeting of the NATO Military Committee Air Standardization Board – MCASB, which has been held from 13 to 17 June in Zadar, MCASB members visited on Wednesday, 15 June 2011 CAF units in Zemunik barracks.
Representatives of the NATO Committee were welcomed by the Commander of the 93rd Air Force Base Colonel Miroslav Kovac, after which they were presented with the structure, tasks and activities of the 93rd Airbase, with activities of Center for training “Rudolf Peresin” and with model of training of the Croatian military pilots.
During the visit representatives of the NATO Committee toured the aircraft and helicopters display from the composition of the flight squadrons of the 93rd Airbase, and visited the Air Defence Regiment where they were presented with equipment and tasks of this unit.
At the end of the visit MCASB Chairman Brigadier Dimosthenis Vratsinis thanked for the hosting and expressed satisfaction that the members of NATO Committee could directly familiarize with the operations of the Croatian air base and air defence segment.
