NATO Director General International Military Staff Lieutenant General Jurgen Bornemann visits Croatia

Chief of General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Drago Lovrić received today, 5 October 2012, Director General of the NATO International Military Staff, Lieutenant General Jurgen Bornemann, who paid an official visit to the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Armed Forces from 4 to 7 October 2012.

Lieutenant General Jurgen Bornemann held a lecture at the Croatian Military Academy “Petar Zrinski” on the topic: “The effect and operation of the international military staff “. Accompanied by the Croatian military representative to NATO and the EU, Major General Mirko Šundov, General Bornemann was welcomed by the Acting Director of the Croatian Military Academy “Petar Zrinski”, Brigadier General Slaven Zdilar.

The lecture was attended by the Chief of Operations and Training Directorate, Commodore Tihomir Erceg, Chief of Logistics Directorate, Colonel Ivica Olujić, representatives of the Department of General Staff of the Armed Forces, students of the War College “Ban Josip Jelačić” and Command and Staff School “Blago Zadro”.

On October 6, Lieutenant General Jurgen Bornemann plans to visit Lora Naval Base where he will meet with the Chief of Staff of the Croatian Navy Captain Predrag Stipanović.
