New commander of the 91st Airbase
The duty handover between Commander of the 91st Airbase Colonel Zdenko Sokic and Deputy Commander of the 93rd Airbase Brigadier Darko Brajkovic who in accordance with the decision of the Chief of General Staff, was temporarily appointed as Commander of the 91st Airbase, starting from 16 May 2011 to 16 August 2011, was made in Pleso Barracks.
Brigadier Darko Brajkovic is member of the Armed Forces since 1991. So far, he held various positions in the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, from pilot of MiG-21 fighter aircraft to the last post as Chief of Staff and also Deputy Commander of the 93rd Airbase. He was praised several times and awarded with the Memorial of Homeland War and Memorial of Homeland Gratitude and with medals “Flash” and “Storm”. He is a graduate aeronautical engineer-pilot, and from military schools he completed the Officer School, Command and Staff College “Blago Zadro” and War College “Ban Josip Jelacic”.
