Open door days in “Zemunik” Barracks
Upon the 19th Anniversary of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, from 6 to 8 December 2010, Open Door Days has been organized for pupils of primary schools of the Zadar County in the “Zemunik” Barracks.
The pupils and their teachers had the opportunity to visit the Museum of old aircraft, and modern jets and helicopters from the composition of the 93rd Air Force Base. The pupils were also presented with the role of the Air Force and Air Defence in the war, while the youngest were introduced with basic terms from air traffic field.
The three-day activity in the “Zemunik” Barracks was visited by a total of ten schools with about 700 children and their teachers and professors.
