Philatelic Exhibition “Croatia and the European Union” in “Zvonimir” Gallery

As part of the European Week, the Philatelic Exhibition “Croatia and the European Union” was opened on Thursday, 5 May 2011, in the “Zvonimir” Gallery.

The exhibition was opened by State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrej Plenkovic, and on behalf of the Ministry of Defence the opening ceremony was attended by the representative of Minister of Defense and Chief of General Staff, Deputy Chief of General Staff Rear Admiral Zdenko Simicic, as well as other numerous guests and dignitaries.

Educational exhibition of postage stamps, letters, postcards and other postal publications presents selected topics related to Croatia’s EU accession, and the authors of the exhibit are members of the Croatian Society of Olympic Philately and Memorabilia.
The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, in cooperation with the Croatian Philatelic Society Zagreb and the Croatian Olympic Philately and Memorabilia Society.
The exhibition is opened until 18 May 2011 from Mon-Fri, from 10 to 18 hours, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays closed. Admission is free of charge.
