Practical flight training of cadets began

The practical flight training of 17th generation of pilot students of the “Cadet” and 1st generation of military pilots on the new model of schooling (candidates in the status of officers, military scholar and soldier-trainees of the MOD and CAF) began on Wednesday, 28 September 2011, in Zemunik barracks.

Flight training has been carried out on the Pilatus PC-9 M plane, while training for helicopter pilots has been performed on the Bell 206 B helicopter. On the basis of bilateral agreements between Croatia and BiH, among the participants of the training for a helicopter pilot has been one member of the Armed Forces of BiH.

All participants had previously successfully completed the selective flying, theoretical program and basic parachuting training, and basic flight training, navigation and group flight lasting 50 flight hours per student on a Zlin 242 L airplane.
Flight Training lasts until June 2013, and includes a basic, navigation, group, instrumental, night and task oriented flying in duration of 200 individual flight hours, under the expert guidance of flight instructors.
