President of the Republic delivers lecture to War School

The President of the Republic of Croatia as the Supreme Commander of the Croatian Armed Forces, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović on 24 January 2017 delivered a lecture for the 19th generation of the War School “Ban Josip Jelačić“ of the Croatian Defence Academy “Dr. Franjo Tuđman”. The President spoke on the “Multilateral Initiatives as the EU and NATO’s Strategic Priorities – the Three Seas Initiative“.

Alongside the students of the War School, the lecture was attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Mirko Šundov, the Commander of the Croatian Defence Academy, Lieutenant General Slavko Barić, the Deputy Commander of the Croatian Defence Academy Brigadier General Zdravko Klanac, the Dean of the Croatian Defence Academy Colonel Slobodan Čurčija, the heads of the departments and the commanders of the schools within the Academy. 

The 19th generation of the War School has 15 students – 11 from the Croatian Armed Forces, one from the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and from the Ministry of the Interior, as well as one member of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia respectively.
