“Emergencies in primary care” course conducted

“Emergencies in primary care” course was conducted from 22 to 24 February 2012 in the Centre for Logistics Training and Doctrine in Pozega.

The course was attended by 23 students, CAF military medical personnel (doctors and nurses) who would actively participate on this course in future as lecturers and instructors. This course is a course on the basic level of life support, and is evaluated by Doctors and Nurses Chamber. The aim of the course is to maintain medical skills, the acquisition of additional skills and providing health care to members of the Croatian Armed Forces and training of trainers.

The course consists of theoretical and practical part. In the practical part the students practice on simulators – dolls that are connected to a computer that records the actions taken and objectively assess whether everything was done in a timely and proper manner.
