“Mov Con MILU Ex 12” Exercise

An international military exercise Multinational Integrated Logistic Unit for movement control “Mov Con MILU Ex 12” was conducted from 14 to 24 May 2012 in the Centre for Logistics Training and Doctrine in Požega.

Besides the host country Croatia, the exercise was attended by representatives of the Armed Forces of Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Canada, Lithuania, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, U.S. and Great Britain.

Exercise participants were divided into two groups, and exercise itself in five phases, including preparation for the exercise, presentation of readiness of all participating countries, planning and transport tasks including surveys of airports and ports, railway junctions, state border crossings and roads.  The exercise also included training for off-road use of motor vehicles.

All tasks were carried out by multinational teams, which confirmed “Mov Con MILU” as a multinational unit capable of implementing all the set tasks and as a significant support to the NATO-led operations.

Multinational Integrated Logistic Unit for movement control – Mov Con MILU as the unit has the purpose of establishing and ensuring the movement of certain elements / units during entering the area of ​​operations, during sustainment of units and during drawing out from the area of operations.
