“Sveti Juraj” Navy Band in China

The band was welcomed in Shanghai with high state and military honours, having presented Chinese as excellent hosts.

Navy Band “Sveti Juraj” held concert on the Chinese warship frigate class for the ship crew, after which they attended the reception of the Chinese general and held evening concert in the military base in front of hundreds of Chinese soldiers, NCOs and officers.

Songs of “Sveti Juraj” have been translated into Chinese and shown on displays and jumbo screens during the performance, so the audience could understand about what they have been singing.

Over the next few days Croatian Navy “Sveti Juraj” Band will have three concerts for military and national leadership in Beijing, and also plan to visit the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.
