“Track” Exercise of GOMBR Reconnaissance Company
A three-day “Track” exercise of the reconnaissance company of the Guards Armoured Mechanized Brigade (GOMBR) was completed today, 20 October 2011, at the military training ground Gakovo.
The exercise was attended by 48 CAF members who demonstrated capabilities to fulfil two tasks that this the exercise scenario included: infiltration and reconnaissance of opponent and fight against infiltrated subversive-terrorist groups.
The exercise leader, Lt. Berislav Petrinović, expressed his satisfaction with the preparations and the involvement of all participants and stressed that the continued work and such exercises, which are fully compatible with NATO standards, significantly contribute to increasing levels of knowledge and skills necessary to perform reconnaissance tasks.
