Second phase of forward air controllers training
The second phase of several days of joint forward air controllers training and close air support, at the request of the CAF, has been jointly conducted by Croatian Army, Croatian Air Force and Air Defence and the U.S. Air Force Europe (USAFE) at the military training ground near Slunj.
The activity called “Tactical air control group” in which participate members of the Croatian Armed Forces, is developing additional CAF capabilities as well as strengthen strategic alliances with the United States within NATO.
The second phase of training includes, besides locating, simulation of shooting on ground targets. This training is contribution to the coordinated operation of the Croatian Air Force with the U.S. Air Force.
