Selection flying completed in Zemunik

The selection flying of candidates for military pilots completed today, August 10, in the 93rd Air Force Base in Zemunik.

 

During the practical flight training on aircraft Zlin 242 L students under the expert guidance of their teachers learned the basic flight manoeuvres on the ground and in the air (run, takeoff, landing, turns, stunts …) through the 9 hours of flight time.

The final part of selection was the test flight with the examiner who assessed the degree of candidate’s flight manoeuvres, and final assessment of the ability to study for military pilot will be made by the Expert Committee of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence.

Candidates who met the required criteria would continue their study at the Faculty of Traffic Sciences, Department of Aeronautics, and upon completion return to Zemunik where they will start with the basic flight training on Zlin 242 L aircraft.
