Sixth Croatian Navy officer in “Atalanta” operation

Croatian Navy officer, Lieutenant Junior Grade Jaksa Miskovic was sent to the European Union “Atalanta” naval operation. He was assigned to the Italian Navy frigate ITS “Libeccio”, from 11 July to 15 December 2010.

Lieutenant Junior Grade Jaksa Miskovic is a sixth Croatian Navy officer in the “Atalanta” operation. So far, three Navy officers were assigned to NATO ships in France, Belgium and the Netherlands, and two were assigned to operation headquarters in Northwood in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Lieutenant Junior Grade Jaksa Miskovic was born on 22 July 1979 in Split. He completed naval school, and then the Maritime Faculty – navigation in Split. He joined the Navy in April 2004. He graduated from the basic officer school, and was assigned on various duties on Navy ships until August 2008, when he was assigned as Commander of DBM-82 “Krka”.
He has participated in international military exercises such as the NATO “Cooperative Engagement 2005”, “MAKO 06”, “Bold Move 07” and “Adrion LIVEX”.
