Specialist military training of Rocket-artillery Regiment
Members of the Armed Forces who have been on specialist military training in Rocket-artillery Regiment of the Army in Bjelovar, conducted from 30 January to 3 February 2012, the final part of the training at the military training area “Eugen Kvaternik” near Slunj.
During camping, they conducted preliminary and instinctive shooting with a rifle and pistol, direct artillery firing with the inlet tube 20 mm from 122 mm howitzer D-30, and indirect artillery live fire exercise with three 122-mm D-30 howitzers and self-propelled multiple rocket launcher systems 122 mm BM -21 “GRAD”.
On the last day training was attended by the Commander of the Army Major General Dragutin Repinc, Head of the Army Department for Exercises, Training and Doctrine Command Colonel Mirko Stošić, Deputy Commander of the Army Training and Doctrine Command “F.K. Frankopan” Colonel Željko Šikić, and Commander of the Rocket-artillery Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Miodrag Hokman. Despite unfavourable weather conditions, the results were appraised with highest grades.
This was a specialist military training of fifteen CAF members, artillery experts, who completed voluntary military service and in December 2011 signed a contract of service in the Armed Forces in the status of active duty soldiers with the Ministry of Defence.
