Successful bilateral defence cooperation between Croatia and France

Defence Minister Davor Bozinovic received on Thursday, 20 January 2011, the Ambassador of the Republic of France Jerome Pasquier.

During the meeting, Minister Bozinovic and Ambassador Pasquier discussed successful bilateral cooperation, while the emphasis was on the contribution that both countries give in the field of the Common Security and Defence Policy, and in operations and missions of the EU and NATO.
Ambassador Pasquier said that France was strongly committed to linking the EU countries in terms of better utilization of the military capabilities of each country.
Minister Bozinovic spoke about the development of new strategic documents in the area of defence and the modernization of the Croatian Armed Forces as one of the development priorities. Minister Bozinovic and Ambassador Pasquier also discussed military and technical cooperation which both sides are open for.
