Successful defence cooperation between Croatia and U.S.

Defence Minister Davor Bozinovic received on Tuesday, 25 January 2011, in an official visit the United States Ambassador James B. Foley.

During the meeting, Minister Bozinovic and Ambassador Foley talked about so far very successful and for Croatia strategic bilateral cooperation and the contribution that both countries provide to NATO operations, particularly to ISAF operation.
Ambassador Foley stressed that the U.S. stands for stronger military cooperation of neighbouring countries in the region, where Croatia has been seen as a key partner in fostering better coordination of their respective military capabilities.
Minister Bozinovic spoke about the development of new strategic documents in the defence field and development plans of the Croatian Armed Forces as one of the priority tasks of the ministry and thanked the U.S. for the given support.
