The NCO of the Month – First Sergeant Milan Okmažić, artillery and missile specialty instructor of the Croatian Navy Training Centre, has attended a number of training courses and repeatedly commended for his excellency. General Drago Lovrić emphasised that the monthly enlisted soldier and NCO titles were assigned based on the achievement in training. The training, said General Lovrić, was the foundation of the Croatian Armed Forces and had to be mission-oriented, challenging yet safe, serving to build the Croatian soldier and the military as a whole. “The servicemen holding the title of the enlisted soldier and NCOs of the month are the examples to be followed by the rest of the members of the Croatian Armed Forces”.
