Training course for chefs completed

11 CAF participants successfully completed a one-month training course for chefs on March 16 in the Centre for Logistics Training and Doctrine in Požega.

In the first week of the course, students were given lessons on personal and food and kitchen hygiene, food storage regulations and food amounts for daily menus, etc. In the next four weeks of practical training, students were trained for independent food preparation in the kitchen and in the field conditions on “Glavica” military training area. Training and preparation of food in field conditions was carried out on the kitchen-car trailer (AP 78). During the practical training students passed all stages of preparing a meal, with the instructors’ expert guidance.

Course participants were awarded certificates on successful completion of the course, which qualified them for independent performing of chef tasks.
