Training of pilots on the military training area near Slunj
The training on shooting out targets on the ground of Mi-171 Sh helicopter crews and training of pilots of MiG 21fighter aircraft for the location and shooting at ground targets will be carried out on the “Eugen Kvaternik” military training area near Slunj from 20 to 23 September 2010.
This is planned activity of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, which main goal is training of the Mi-171 Sh helicopter crews for battlefield actions, and training of pilots of MiG-21 fighter aircraft. Pilots of the 91st Air Base with 4 MiG-21 and three Mi-171 Sh backed by command company of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence participate in the training.
During these activities from 20 to 23 September 2010, there will be flights of Mi-171 Sh multi-role helicopters and MiG-21fighter aircraft over the “Eugen Kvaternik” military training area in the morning and afternoon.
