Transfer of duties of Air Force Operations Centre Chief
The transfer of duties of the Chief of the Air Force and Air Defence Operations Centre between Colonel Miroslav Tisanić and Lieutenant Colonel Nedeljko Zmajić was held today, 21 December 2012, in the Command of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence. The handover was attended by the heads of the Air Force sections and the Air Force and Air Defence Commander, Brigadier General Drazen Šćuri.
Former Chief of the Air Force Operations Centre Colonel Miroslav Tisanić, after a series of responsible duties in 35 years of distinguished and outstanding service, goes into retirement. For his work, he was repeatedly decorated, commended and rewarded.
On this occasion, Brigadier Tisanić thanked everyone for honest cooperation, emphasizing that it was an honour and pleasure to end his professional career in the Air Force and Air Defence. Most of all he was impressed by a dignified end of his active military service, where he stressed that it had to be the norm for all members of the Armed Forces who go into retirement.
His duty will be taken over by Colonel Nedeljko Zmajić, the former head of the Training and Doctrine Section of the Air Force and Air Defence. Colonel Zmajić is a pilot of transport helicopters. He has been a member of the Armed Forces since 1991, exercising a number of responsible duties in his career, from member of the guard brigade to commander of an air base. For his work, he was also repeatedly decorated, commended and rewarded.
