Turkish Command and Staff School visits Croatian Army Academy
The students of the Command and Staff School of the Republic of Turkey have today visited the Croatian Army Academy “Petar Zrinski” in Zagreb.
The 56-member delegation was headed by the Maj.Gen. Mete Salt and the Defence Attaché of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Croatia, Col. Enver Topal, and was welcomed by Brig Gen Slaven Zdilar, the Director of the Academy and the Commander of the „Ban Josip Jelačić“ War School, by Col Željko Akrap, the Commander of the Croatian Command and Staff School “Blago Zadro“ and the students of the 21st generation of the Croatian Command and Staff School,
During the visit, the topic „Challenges for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia following the Entry into NATO“ presented the course of Croatia’s entry into NATO, the transformation of her Armed Forces, security and defence-related strategic documents and regional cooperation. The Turkish visitors have also been familiarised with the Croatian Army Academy, its structure, models and forms of education and development. The two sides also exchanged the experiences related to military education.
