Two Canadairs sent to Bosnia and Herzegovina

Two Canadair CL-415fire-fighting aircraft of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence from the CAF Fire-fighting Task Force (CAF FF TF) with two crews were sent early in the morning on September 10 to the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina to help extinguish fire in the municipality of Jablanica.

The decision to send two planes of the Croatian Armed Forces to Bosnia and Herzegovina was adopted by the Croatian Government on the telephone session on September 9.

Crews consists of captains Davor Turković and Ivica Markač, co-pilots Miroslav Franjić and Krunoslav Hegeduš and technicians Željko Kurilić and Mario Bistre.
