Two-week First Aid Course in SFB

The Special Operations Battalion is hosting a fortnightly First Aid Course designed for its members to help them attain sufficient level of medical skills necessary for prevention of health and life.

The Course consists of three modules covering the first aid theory and procedures demonstration, hygiene basics and proper tactical care in the battlefield, and is conducted in the field conditions, through work posts and a day-time and night-time exercise at all Battalion facilities, by the members of the medical squad and.the Tactical Combat Casualty Care instructors. It also incorporates the Battlefield Life Support Course.

The Course is intended for all special force members and is entirely compliant with the training programmes of the kind applied by NATO special forces. Its contents is an obligatory matter for members of Croatian Armed Forces’s special force deployed to international peace missions and operations.
