Visit of children from Split and Vrlika to 93rd Air Force Base
Primary school pupils from Vrlika and Plokite from Split visited on 1 June 2012, the 93rd Air Force Base in the Zemunik Barracks.
The visit was conducted as part of the school programme from areas of air traffic and homeland education, and Zemunik Barracks offered them a tour of the museum of old planes and helicopters used in the Homeland War, and the aircraft flown today by Croatian military pilots.
Near the monument of Rudolf Perešin children planted a tree of friendship as a sign of good relations and cooperation with Air Force Base and met with the pilots who got them familiar with the training for military pilots.
