Visit of the Prime Minister of the Homeland War Memorial Centre in Vukovar
Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor with his closest associates, among whom was the Minister of Defence Davor Bozinovic visited, on September 9, Memorial Centre of the Homeland War in the barracks of 204th Vukovar Brigade in Vukovar.
The Prime Minister was welcomed by Major General Mirko Sundov, Director of the Croatian Military Academy, in which composition Centre is, where the presentation on Centre’s activities, development plans, permanent exhibition, as well as on cooperation with the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of town of Vukovar was given by the Director of Museum Multimedia Division of Homeland War, Colonel Peter Cavar.
Prime Minister visited some of the exhibitions including a display of the Stajicevo and Begejci camps, a collection of infantry weapons in which have been 60 handmade rifles and pistols, and others.
Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor congratulated the staff of the Centre on the achievements so far. Until now, the Centre was visited by 100 000 visitors.
