“Wings of Storm“ win award at international air show in Slovakia
The Aerobatic Group of Croatian Air Force and Air Defence “Wings of Storm“, of the Fixed-wing Squadron based in the 93rd Air Base has won the award for the most accurate performance at the International Air Festival in the Slovak Republic.
On 27 August 2017 the”Wings of Storm” concluded their two-day performance in the competition part of the SIAF 2017 (Slovak International Air Fest) held in the Sliač Air Base.
It was the “Wings of Storm“’s 47th international performance in 15 countries and their second performance in Slovakia, the first being in the Piestany Air Base in 2009.
The award received further affirmed the Group’s status among the aerobatic teams.
