21st anniversary of the Croatian Navy

Day of the Croatian Navy and its 21st anniversary will be celebrated on Friday and Saturday, 14 and 15 September in Podgora and on Monday, 17 September in Split.

On Friday, 14 September 2012 at 10.00 hours Croatian Navy ships – missile boats “Dmitar Zvonimir” and “Dubrovnik” and “Učka” motor yacht will sail into the port in Podgora. The ships will be open to citizens’ visit from 14.00 to 16.00 hours. At 18.00 hours a service will be served in the church of St. Vicenzo led by the Vicar General of the Military Ordinary, father Jakov Mamić, and beginning at 20:00 there will be a concert of the Navy Orchestra and “Sveti Juraj” vocal band.

The central ceremony of the Day of the Croatian Navy and 21st Navy anniversary will be held on Saturday, 15 September 2012 in Podgora.
