NATO-EU Capability Group meeting
At the invitation of the Director General of the Directorate for Defence Policy of the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Spain Juan Carlos Villamie Ugarte, MOD State Secretary Pjer Simunovic attended the meeting of the NATO-EU Capability Group held today, April 14, in Brussels, Belgium.
The meeting of the NATO-EU Capability Group was held to discuss and review steps taken in development of defence capabilities of the two organizations and the linkages between the commitments, goals and priorities. Special emphasis was given to the discussion of the possibility of multilateral cooperation in the field of logistic support to NATO and EU operations and to determine additional potential areas of cooperation between the two organizations.
