MOD Secretary of State of Republic of Serbia visits Croatian MOD

Contribution to security in the region and further expansion of cooperation were the main topics of discussion between MOD State Secretary Pjer Simunovic and State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia mr. Dusan Spasojevic during a meeting on Thursday, April 21, 2010.

During the meeting, experiences on working on key strategic defence documents were exchanged. Cooperation in the defence area between Croatia and Serbia gives a strong contribution to the overall relationship.
In the exchange of experience, in addition to state secretaries, also participated Major General Dragutin Repinc, Chief of the Armed Forces Planning Staff, Colonel Jasmina Causevic, Head of Department for Defence Policy and Planning, and on the Serbian side Major General Bozidar Forca, Chief of the Strategic Planning and Colonel Branko Boskovic, Head of the Military Academy Centre and other associates.
Both sides agreed that there are numerous areas where it is possible to make concrete defence cooperation through the exchange of experience and expertise and activities in the areas of regional cooperation.
State Secretary Dusan Spasojevic and his associates also visited the Croatian Military Academy (HVU), where they were welcomed by the director of HVU Major General Mirko Sundov.
