Prime Minister and Minister of Defence visited the pilots

Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor and Minister of Defence Branko Vukelic visited today, on Friday, September 24, in Dubrava Clinical Hospital, pilots of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, Captain Igor Troselj and First Lieutenant Marijan Kudlik who had an accident with MIG 21aircraft during yesterday’s military exercises.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor and Defence Minister Branko Vukelic wished them fast recovery, where Hospital announced that the leaving of pilots from the hospital may already be expected today. Also, medical personnel especially praised psychophysical state of the pilots, who were involved in this accident. Captain Troselj and First Lieutenant Kudlik thanked their colleagues from the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence and Special Operations Battalion on the fast search and rescue operation in which only 1 hour and 30 minutes after the accident pilots were transported by helicopters to Zagreb. In talks with Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor and Defence Minister Branko Vukelic pilots once again expressed their desire for the return to the unit as soon as possible.
