400 soldiers employed in Croatian Armed Forces
Based on the annual plan of acquiring active military personnel in the Croatian Armed Forces, today, on Monday, October 18, 400 soldiers were employed in the Croatian Armed Forces by signing a contract of service in the Armed Forces on active duty status.
360 people who completed voluntary military service in the third and fourth rotation (2009 and 2010), and 40 persons who had previously applied for admission to active military service and had completed military service and thus fulfilled all the criteria needed for reception signed the contract.
Contract on service in the Croatian Armed Forces on soldiers active duty status was signed for three years, with a trial period of six months, and in accordance with the needs of the Armed Forces soldiers will be assigned to specialized training in the following units: Infantry Regiment Djakovo, Centre for Training and Logistics Doctrine Pozega, Air Defence Regiment in Zemunik Donji, Training Centre of the Croatian Air Defence and Air Force and Navy Training Centre in Split, Karlovac Engineer Regiment, “Pleso” Air Base in Velika Gorica, NBC Battalion in Dugo Selo, and the Artillery-Rocket Regiment in Bjelovar. These soldiers will pass specialist training lasting eight weeks in their units.
