8th generation’s cadets singed contracts on scholarships

Representatives of the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces, and cadets and all the present were welcomed by the Director of the Croatian Military Academy Major General Mirko Sundov. In a brief presentation General Sundov specifically referred to the program “Kadet”, noting that previous generations have achieved good results but also that they should be better.
In his address, Chief of General Staff General Lucic said that, despite their young age, cadets have chosen a demanding vocation. He also said that their training program was certainly one of the best in Croatia, taking into account the opportunities provided and the invested funds.

Minister Vukelic also congratulated the cadets that have become part of one big community, proud and victorious Croatian Armed Forces. He emphasized that the “Kadet” program was very important for the Armed Forces of the 21 century, as well as to carry out tasks that have been more complex every day. “Croatia, the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces need you! I want you to finish school as soon as possible and to see you in your units”, Minister concluded.

On behalf of the 8th generation, the present were addressed by Cadet Ivana Grgic who thanked for the given chance, with a promise that cadets would devote to work, learning, practicing and performing military and academic obligations.

Minister Vukelic accompanied by CMA staff visited “Petar Zrinski” military barracks where cadets have been housed.
