New Defence Minister Davor Bozinovic
On the proposal of the Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor, the Croatian Parliament by a majority vote at its session held today, Wednesday, December 29, approved new members of the Government, including the new Minister of Defence Davor Bozinovic.
New Defence Minister Davor Bozinovic, was before appointed as Secretary of State for Political Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and as Special Envoy of the Prime Minister for Southeast Europe.
In his professional career, among others, he was the Croatian Ambassador to NATO, Chief of the Office of the Croatian President, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Serbia and Montenegro and held a number of other diplomatic duties.
He has BA, MD and PhD from political science, Faculty of Political Sciences in Zagreb.
