Minister Bozinovic met U.S. Ambassador

Defence Minister Davor Bozinovic, received today, 4 March 2011, in the official visit the U.S. Ambassador to Croatia James Foley.

Minister Bozinovic informed the Ambassador Foley with future plans of Croatia’s involvement in Afghanistan, where the emphasis was placed on the Military Police School in Kabul where together with the Croatian mentors, who have a leading role in school’s work, would participate mentors from the countries of the region.
During the meeting, U.S. Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the Croatian contribution to the ISAF mission, stressing that Croatia, although a young member of NATO, on the basis of previous engagement represents a reliable NATO partner and serves as an example in the region.
They also discussed the possible future areas of bilateral defence cooperation between the two countries.
