Bozinovic and Lovric visited injured member of the Armed Forces
Defence Minister Davor Bozinovic and Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Drago Lovric, visited today, Friday, 24 June 2011, CAF member who was transferred for treatment to Clinical Hospital Dubrava, after he was accidentally injured on 20 June 2011in Afghanistan, gaining a gunshot wound of left leg.
Minister Bozinovic assured in quality medical care provided to the injured member of the Armed Forces, and especially thanked the staff of Dubrava Hospital on their involvement in medical care of the CAF member.
Accidentally injured member of the Armed Forces returned to Croatia on Thursday, 23 June 2011 in the evening, by a special medical flight (MEDEVAC) of the Air Force of Federal Republic of Germany (Luftwaffe). Military medical aircraft of German Luftwaffe on a return from Afghanistan to Germany, yesterday landed at Zagreb Airport, and the injured soldier was transferred immediately upon arrival for further treatment to Dubrava Hospital in Zagreb.
Another member of the Armed Forces – NCO of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, who was slightly injured on 15 June 2011, also returned to Croatia yesterday with a regular flight.
