CAF fire-fighting aircraft started with fire extinguishing in Padjane
Four Canadairs and two Air Tractors this morning, around 9.20 a.m., were sent to the area of Padjane military warehouse complex that was yesterday afternoon caught by fire, and in coordination with local fire-fighting commander began with fire extinguishing of the marginal parts of the fire area.
Also, during the morning, the unmanned aircrafts made air surveillance of the fire site.
Yesterday late in the evening about 160 people that were evacuated from affected areas were settled in the barracks “Andrija Matijas – Pauk” in Knin, and the same were visited during the night by Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Drago Lovric, who also visited fire site, whose intensity during the night was significantly reduced.
