Minor damage on the MiG 21 aircraft during a test flight
During the execution of a test flight, after the works on the MiG 21 (two-seater), today, on Tuesday, June 19, around 13 hours, there was a drop of the back pilot cockpit at a distance of about 3 km after take off from 91st Air Force Base Pleso.
After detecting the defects, pilot immediately landed aircraft with no other damage. The pilot was not injured. It is estimated that the drop of the back cockpit occurred at an altitude of 700-800 meters.
In order to determine all the circumstances of the event, an expert committee was formed to study the causes, while military police conducts investigation at the scene.
