CAF helicopters transported 17 patients
CAF helicopter from the 91st and 93rd Air Force Base during the extended holiday weekend transported seventeen patients with MI-8 MTV and MI-17 1VA helicopters.
On Thursday and Friday, 21 and 22 June, three patients from the island of Rab were transported to Rijeka Clinical Hospital, while one patient form the island of Hvar was taken to Split Clinical Hospital.
On Friday and Saturday, 22 and 23 June, four patients from the island of Hvar were also transported to Split Clinical Hospital.
Helicopters of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence transported on Saturday, 23 June, three seriously injured patients from Gospić to Dubrava Clinical Hospital in Zagreb, who were injured in a tragic Czech bus accident on the A1 motorway, and on Sunday, 24 June, one patient was transported from Hvar to Split Clinical Hospital. Also, in the evening on Sunday, 24 June, one patient from the island of Rab was transported in Rijeka Clinical Hospital and one patient from the island of Hvar to Split Clinical Hospital.
Finally, on 25 June, one patient was transported from Hvar to Split Clinical Hospital, and two patients from the island of Rab to Rijeka Clinical Hospital.
