During live fire exercise two GOMBR members injured
During the live firing exercise from the 12.7 mm machine gun, two members of the Guards Armoured Mechanized Brigade of the Croatian Army were injured today, 16 October 2012, in “Gašinci” military training ground. The injuries were the result of the premature firing.
It is suspected that one CAF member injured the ear drum, and there are no other external signs of injury, while the other suffered minor injuries on his legs. Both were transported to appropriate medical facility for examination and treatment. According to initial estimates, these are minor injuries, but the proper status will be known after examinations. Live fire exercise was interrupted until the cause of injuries will be determined.
