Zoran Drča appointed as Assistant Minister of Defence

Government of the Republic of Croatia appointed on the closed part of its 65th session today, 6 December 2012, Zoran Drča as the Assistant Minister of Defence, a former Chief of the International Military Cooperation and Security Sector of the Defence Policy Directorate.

Assistant Minister Zoran Drča was born on 15 February 1978 in Zadar. He graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Zagreb in 2003, and in 2008 he completed a one-year professional diplomatic studies. He has been an employee of the Ministry of Defence since 2003, where he, inter alia, was on the duty of the Chief of NATO and Partnership for Peace Department and Chief of the International Military Cooperation and Security Sector. He was awarded the Order of the Croatian Three-stranded Pattern in 2008 decoration by the President of the Republic of Croatia for outstanding contribution to the development and reputation of the Republic of Croatia and its citizens.
