Central European Defence Ministers Meet in Mali Lošinj

The island of Lošinj is hosting a central European informal defence ministerial, on 31 May and 1 June 2013, to be attended by the defence ministers of Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Slovenia along with the Croatian Defence Minister Ante Kotromanović.

The ministers will discuss the projects of mutual regional interest, the possibilities for pooling and sharing aimed at promoting co-operation and maintaining and enhancing defence capabilities of the participating countries.

The programme of the Ministerial will include a demonstration exercise by the Croatian and Austrian special forces, to display the skills and expertise of the members of the Special Operations Battalion and the superior level of co-operation with the Austrian counterparts.
