Commemorating All Saints and All Souls Day

All Saints and All Souls Day will be commemorated by laying wreaths and lightning candles in all of the counties and in the city of Zagreb by the delegations of the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs and the Ministry of Interior.

Delegation of the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs and the Ministry of Interior will lay wreaths for all the fallen Croatian soldiers and civilian victims of the Homeland War, on Wednesday, 31 October 2012, at 11.00 hours at the Central Memorial in the Alley  of the Fallen Croatian Soldiers and at the central cemeteries in the seats of all the counties, and in certain cases:

Istria County – at the Central Cross in the city cemetery,

Osijek-Baranja County – at the Chapel of Peace in Osijek, and at the common grave for unidentified victims of the Homeland War at the city cemetery in Osijek;

Split-Dalmatia County – at the Central Cross on the city cemetery Split and at the Croatian veterans cemetery in Split;

City of Zagreb and Zagreb County – at the Miroševac cemetery.

Memorial service for all the fallen Croatian soldiers in the Homeland War will be held on All Souls Day, 2 November 2012, at 11.00 hours in all counties and in Zagreb, in the church of the Holy Mother of Freedom on Jarun.
