Promotion of Guard Brigades Monographs
The promotion of monographs of military-police units of the Croatian Armed Forces, namely of the 1st Guard Brigade “Tigers”, 3rd Guard Brigade “Martens”, and and 1st Combined Croatian Guard Brigade will take place on Friday, 12 October 2012, in the “Zvonimir” Officer’s Club in Zagreb, Stančića 4, starting at 18.00 hours.
The promotion of monographs will be attended by the Defence Minister Ante Kotromanović and Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Drago Lovrić, as well as retired military commanders General Josip Lucić, Maj. Gen. Milenko Filipović, Brigadier General Tomo Medved, Colonel Marko Leko, etc.
Monographs presents the chronology of guard brigades from the Homeland War, since their formation, wartimes, until the end of the war and serve as a reminder of the events and people that have marked recent Croatian history. The authors of the monographs are mostly retired commanders and members of the guard brigades, and the publisher is the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces.
