Defence Minister congratulates World Rowing Cup gold medalists
The Croatian Defence Minister, Ante Kotromanović sent congratulations to Martin and Valent Sinković, the athlete members of the Croatian Armed Forces on winning the gold medal (men’s double sculls) at the World Rowing Cup held in Switzerland 30 August- 6 September.
“Dear Martin and Valent, on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and the Croatian Armed Forces, whose members you are, I am sending my sincere congratulations on the retained title of double sculls champions and am taking the opportunity to appreciate your successes and your commitment that make us proud of that. I believe you will continue to reap medals at future championships”.
The competition in Lucerne, Switzerland has been the sixth victory for the brothers Sinković, who have thus qualified for the next Olympic Games to be held in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
