Greek Navy’s ships visit Croatian Navy and Dubrovnik
The Frigate HS HYDRA and landing ship HS RODOS of the Hellenic Republic Navy visited the Croatian Navy and Dubrovnik from 12 – 14 August 2019, as a bilateral co-operation activity with the Hellenic Republic.
The ships moored at the Port of Gruž in Dubrovnik.
The 188-crew Frigate HS HYDRA is 117 is 117m long, with a 14.8m beam, its draught is 6.3m and displacement 3350tons. The Frigate Commander is Captain (N) Stavros Polydorou.
The 238-crew landing ship HS RODOS is 115.9m long, with a 15.3m; its draught is 4.2m and displacement 4470tons. The ship is commanded by Commander (N) Stergios Poylios.
The commanders were welcomed by the Deputy Mayor of Dubrovnik.
